"My name is Bogey and I am a Red Merle Australian Shepherd.  You might have seen my picture in the gallery.  Aren't I the cutest dog you have ever seen?  I LOVE doggy daycare!  Every morning, I hang around while my family gets ready, but as soon as they make the walk down the hall to the kitchen, I know it is time!  I begin spazzing out because I am SO ready to go to daycare!  I even go get my leash for mom and dad! I go over to where it hangs, grab it with my mouth, and (here is the best part), I look up at them with my best puppy dog eyes and beg them to take me to day care!  I have found that jumping all around and whining works really well too!  In fact, they don't even really have to put me on the leash because I just walk right in ready to play!  My mom and dad love that your prices are so low FIVE days a week compared to just two at other daycares.  It is also such a blessing and mind reliever to know that veterinarians are on location just in case.  Since the Kansas weather is so up and down, it is great to have a place to go when the weather does not cooperate for me to stay outside at home.  I love to play and what a great way to exercise and develop social skills.  We all LOVE having BV Animal Daycare around the corner!..."

"We started using Dr. Keffer's services about 14 years ago when we got our first Airedale Terrier, Madison.  Dr. Keffer saw Madison through infected ears and eyes, fungus on her skin, routine vaccinations, spaying, and broken cartilage in both ears.

We always believed her welfare was a priority to Dr. Keffer and his staff.  His bedside manner is always informative and practical with a sincere concern for the pet and it's family.

Dr. Keffer and his staff never made us feel like “bad parents” when our visits where other than the routine.  His main concern was to keep her healthy and us happy.

When Madison turned 14 years old she started to decline.  Dr. Keffer's concern was to make sure our animal friend be kept comfortable until her last day.

My husband, daughter and myself knew it was time to let her go.  We felt she just ran out of puppy.  When we arrived at the office, Dr. Keffer made Madison comfortable while we prepared for the worst.  We were not rushed to go forward with the final injection.  We were left alone to make our farewells and Dr. Keffer with his gentle spirit and concern administered the final injection.  We held our Maddie and was so grateful  we had found a veterinarian team that took such loving care of her from puppy to her final breath.

We now have our second Airedale puppy and plan on Dr. Keffer and his staff to be part of her life too.

"We brought Kobe, our 90-lb yellow lab, in to see the staff at Blue Valley Animal Hospital for a torn ACL.  Dr. Keffer and the staff took immediate action.  They were able to schedule surgery the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.  They also were willing to keep Kobe for a few extra days, so we could make sure he rested.  Dr. Keffer was available whenever we had concerns.  It has been six weeks since the surgery.  I have never worked with a doctor or a staff that shows more compassion and professionalism than Dr. Keffer and his staff.  I trust them to do the right thing with our puppy and for us.
