Sara, RVT

 Registered Veterinary Technician, Sara, has been working at Blue Valley Animal Hospital for over seven years.  She is passionate about animals, and proud of the work she does each and every day.  She graduated with honors from Colby Community College & continues to attend conferences and seminars nationwide to keep current on veterinary trends.  Sara lives in Lacygne with her husband, Travis, who trains and shows Quarter horses, and her daughter, Laramie, who is already Mommy's little cowgirl! They are expecting another addition to their family in April 2012.  Her four legged friends consist of her German Shorthair, Lexi, and her horses. 

JaniceJanice has been working hard at Blue Valley Animal Hospital for almost five years now!  She is the main receptionist and knows all the ins and outs of running the front desk.  If you have a question- you can bet that if Janice cannot answer it- she will not stop until seeking it out!  With her daughter in college, and her son not far behind, Janice is a busy mother and wife to her husband, Ken. 

Tamara  

 We are thrilled to welcome animal- lover Tamara to our team here at Blue Valley Animal Hospital!  She is working as an Assistant/Receptionist. Tamara moved back to the Kansas City area after 16 years of living in Atlanta and Springfield, Missouri.  She is currently taking classes online at Purdue University to become a Veterinary Technician.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors with  her 3 dogs;  Athena, Penny, and Dusty.   

Caretakers

Meet our caretakers!  These are the people who spend each and every minute of their time keeping your animals comfortable, happy, and well-fed!  They supervise doggie daycare, feed, administer medicine, and do all of the down and dirty cleaning around the hospital!  Each and every one of the kennel staff is an extremely hard and dedicated worker, with a passion for animals and we are so proud of the work that they do!

Jenny

This is one of our full time caretakers, Jenny, and her dog, Willie.  You will never find Jenny without this smile on her face, and a giggle close behind.  She is a hard worker and does just about any and everything around the hospital.  From scrubbing in on surgeries, to supervising doggie daycare, to scrubbing floors, she is happy to keep busy and work hard.  Jenny is a great asset to our team!

MattThis is Matt, our other full time caretaker.  He shows up bright and early every morning to take care of all the animals who are at the hospital for boarding, daycare, and recovery.  He is our go-to guy when it comes to getting stuff done around the hospital.  A KU alumni, Matt is an avid basketball player in his spare time, and hopes one day to run his own daycare.  You can be sure your dog will love going to daycare with Matt!
