Veterinarians

Dr. Brad Spain
Veterinarian

Brad Spain

Dr. Spain grew up in Kincaid, KS and is a proud 2008 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Passionate about providing the best quality care for your pet, Dr. Spain brings us eight years of experience in practice and his professional interests include small animal internal medicine, dermatology, and orthopedic surgery. When Dr. Spain is not at the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and his dog, Duff. Duff is a 6 year old Scottish Terrier who enjoys barking at his friends and going on long truck rides during storm season. During storm season, it’s not uncommon for Dr. Spain to be out in search of tornadoes; storm chasing is his favorite (and riskiest!) hobby. The scariest moment in his storm chasing career was when he narrowly missed being crushed by a one ton hay bale during a severe storm in south east Kansas. Dr. Spain looks forward to getting to know you and your pets!

Jen
Groomer

Jen

Jen started out pet grooming in Overland Park over twenty-five years ago, and once she found her way to our practice she knew she was home. For the last seventeen of those years, she's been providing each and every animal entrusted to her care with meticulous treatment delivered with her own tender touch. No matter whether she's giving a simple bath and blow dry or full grooming service, her first step is always to make sure your beloved companion is as comfortable and as calm as possible before proceeding to brush, wash, dry, and care for their bodily hygiene including his ears and anal glands all with her signature tender touch. When Jen is not providing professional grooming here in our veterinary hospital, she just might be found gardening at her home in Spring Hill, antiquing in the area, or joy riding on her motorcycle. If it's summer, look for her lounging on her boat with Dan, her husband of twenty-eight years.
