Dr. Jodie Hayes | DVM
Dr. Jodie Hayes received her bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences from Kansas State University. After graduation, she attended the Maple Woods Community College Veterinary Technology program. She worked as a Registered Veterinary Technician, in a specialty and emergency hospital, for 6 years. Throughout her time as a technician, Dr. Hayes realized that her true calling was in diagnosing, prescribing, and performing various procedures.
Dr. Hayes then attended veterinary school at the University of Missouri and graduated in 2013. After graduation, she performed a yearlong rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery. She then worked as a Senior Emergency Clinician for 7 years. She received training in abdominal ultrasound from multiple specialists and continued to use those skills throughout her career in emergency medicine.
Dr. Hayes’ goal is to provide primary care veterinarians access to diagnostic abdominal ultrasound, in their own hospital, where the clients and pets feel most comfortable. She will have the ability to perform fine needle aspiration, cystocentesis, thoracocentesis, abdominocentesis, and pericardiocentesis. A board-certified radiologist will review Dr. Hayes’ studies and a complete report will be sent to the primary care veterinarian.

Anita Keck | RVT | RDCS (AE, PE)
One of Anita's life's passions has been her love for animals. After she obtained a master's degree in education, she decided to pursue a degree in the veterinary field. She was accepted into the Veterinary Technology program at Maple Woods Community College in 2003 and graduated from that institution in 2005. After graduating from Maple Woods, she worked for eight years as a Registered Veterinary Technician at a tertiary care facility. This experience introduced her to specialty aspects of veterinary medicine and she developed an interest in the subspecialty of cardiology.
In 2016, she was accepted into the Advanced Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She graduated and is now a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer. She is compelled to bring this education and experience back to the animal population by creating a mobile pet imaging service.
Her goal is to bring this service to primary care veterinarians where the client and pet feel most comfortable. Anita has been in business before, owning and operating All Pawsitive Pet Care, a professional pet-sitting service. She is looking forward to re-entering the veterinary world and continuing her career as a cardiac sonographer.
